EVERETT — Police are looking for a Seattle-area man they believed fired a gun into a nightclub crowd early Tuesday, injuring three.
Detectives said Anthony Leroy Pines, 28, is a suspect in the shooting. They consider him armed and dangerous, Everett police Sgt. Robert Goetz said.
Gunfire erupted around 1:30 a.m. at McCabe’s American Nightclub on Hewitt Avenue. Earlier, a man was kicked out after he allegedly tried to steal alcohol from behind a bar. The man returned, was kicked out again and then opened the bar’s door and fired a gun into the crowd, Goetz said. Two women and one man, all believed to be in their 20s, were hurt. Their injuries weren’t considered to be life-threatening.
Witnesses told police the shooter drove off in a silver Jaguar.
Police described Pines as about 5 feet 8 inches tall, 175 pounds with brown hair and brown eyes. Pines has an extensive criminal history and is wanted on warrants, Goetz said.
He is believed to be driving a 2000 silver Jaguar with Washington license plate 205 RIC.
