EVERETT – Everett police are looking for a Seattle-area man who they believe opened fire early Tuesday into an Everett nightclub injuring three.
Detectives said that Anthony Leroy Pines, 28, is a suspect in the shooting and they called him “armed and dangerous,” Everett police Sgt. Robert Goetz said.
Gunfire erupted around 1:30 a.m. at McCabe’s American Nightclub on Hewitt Avenue, Goetz said.
A man was kicked out after he allegedly tried to steal alcohol from behind a bar. The man returned, was kicked out again and then opened the bar’s door and fired a gun into the crowd, Goetz said.
Witnesses told police the shooter drove off in a Silver Jaguar.
Police described Pines as about 5-foot-8-inches tall, 175 pounds with brown hair and eyes. Pines has an extensive criminal history and is wanted on warrants, Goetz said.
He is believed to be driving a 2000 Silver Jaguar, with Washington license plate 205 RIC.
Anyone with information is asked to call 911 or call the Everett Police Department Tip Line at 425-257-8450.
