Sounder commuter rail service between Everett and Seattle is resuming its regular service this afternoon, according to Sound Transit.

Mudslides Tuesday morning across the waterfront tracks in north Seattle shut down the rail line and began a mandatory 48-hour waiting period before passenger service could resume.

All trains will operate on normal weekday schedules. For more information, visit www.soundtransit.org.
