Everett’s secret garden!

I’m working on a story about Everett’s Evergreen Arboretum &Gardens, almost hidden right next to Legion Park, known among some locals as the “secret” garden.

This morning, I followed along on a tour with a group from Seattle’s Washington Park Arboretum.

It was pretty awesome. Though not everything in the garden is entirely awake, it is quite a vision and recent years have brought about numerous new additions, including a now 3-week-old rain garden.
