SHORELINE — The Thunderbirds earned the Wesco 3A victory by set scores of 25-8, 23-25, 25-23 and 25-23. Carolyn Stransky had 20 assists, Marianne Kellogg had 19 assists, Molly Whipple had 13 kills, two aces and seven digs and Monica Postor had 13 kills and 12 digs for Shorewood (3-2 league, 5-4 overall). Megan Herzog had 14 assists, Arianna Garcia had 16 kills, Kayla Dumo had 16 digs and Jennifer Tsuji had 15 assists for the Royals (1-4, 5-4).
