EVERETT — Emmy Allen had 11 kills and 12 aces and Stephanie Cheesman had 10 assists to lead Jackson (4-1 league, 9-1 overall) to a 25-13, 25-10, 25-8 Wesco South win over Mariner (1-4, 1-10). Jackson clinched a 4A District 1 playoff berth with the victory. For Mariner, Elijah Turner had three kills and Latonya Lott had two blocks.
