Prep volleyball: South Whidbey 3, Coupeville 2

LANGLEY — After winning the first set 25-15 and dropping the next two 22-25, 27-29, South Whidbey took the final two games 25-17 and 15-11 to come from behind and win the Cascade Conference match. Linden Firethorne led the way for the Falcons (5-6 league and overall) with 23 kills and eight blocks. Brittany Wood had 32 digs and seven kills, Alissa Coupe had 40 assists and Hannah Calderwood hit nine kills and five blocks for South Whidbey. Coupeville (2-9, 3-9) was led by the play of Jessica Riddle (12 kills and 14 digs), Laura Chan (25 assists). Chelsea Hudgins (12 digs) and Kyra Ilyankoff (seven kills).
