Power outage hits Boeings Auburn plant

Boeing has set up a hotline for employees to call regarding updates about a power outage at its Auburn plant.
The number to call is 1-800-899-6431.
A transformer failed at about 4 a.m. Saturday, shutting off most of the power to the building, Boeing spokeswoman Lauren Penning said.
Some power has already been restored but most employees will be asked to stay home Monday, she said. It’s not known when full power will be restored, Penning said.
