Upper Columbia steelhead closure

The Columbia above Priest Rapids Dam and all tributaries close to steelhead fishing April 1, including the Wenatchee, Icicle, Entiat, Methow, Okanogan and Similkameen. According to Wildlife Department of Fish and Wildlife biologist Jeff Korth, the action is necessary to protech spawning steelhead listed under the federal Endangered Species Act.
