YAKIMA — A Yakima lawyer who was convicted of theft of phone services for the county jail was sentenced Monday to 60 days of community service.
A visiting judge also ordered Kimberely Grijalva to pay restitution of nearly $2,300.
She allowed inmates to use her attorney’s line to make more than 900 free phone calls from jail.
Yakima Herald-Republic reported Grijalva has been suspended by the Washington State Bar Association and could be disbarred.
