MARYSVILLE — Javier Gomez Mora-Rey had two goals and an assist for Marysville Getchell in a Wesco 3A win. Mora-Rey’s first goal came unassisted midway through the first half, the second came in the 64th minute off a Gabe Ramirez assist and was followed almost immediately by an Edger Escalante goal. The Charger’s second two goals came against a short-handed Hawks team after officials gave Gifton Okoronkwo a red card around the 60th minute for kicking a Marysville Getchell player. Chargers head coach Geoff Kittle said he felt a little bad for the Hawks, as it looked to him like Okoronkwo was just going for the ball. “That made an impact on the game, I think,” said Kittle.
