SNOHOMISH — A Snohomish man remained in serious condition Tuesday at a Seattle hospital after a two-car crash this past weekend.

The crash happened about 2:30 p.m. Saturday at the intersection of Highway 9 and E. Lowell-Larimer Road.

The man, 48, and a passenger, a Snohomish woman, 45, were in a Volvo C30. They were struck by a Hyundai Santa Fe driven by a 19-year-old Marysville woman who reportedly ran a red light. The Hyundai driver was unhurt. The Snohomish woman was taken to a local hospital.

The Washington State Patrol is investigating.
