New voters can register for November election through Monday

New Washington voters can register through Monday, Oct. 27, to vote in the Nov. 4 election, but they must register in person at the Snohomish County auditor’s office, 3000 Rockefeller Ave., Everett from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. Monday through Friday. Voters can get information by calling 425-388-3444.

The deadline for registration by mail or online, or for previously registered Washington voters to file a change of address, was Oct. 6.

Voters who register in person can either get a ballot by mail or vote on accessible machines at the elections office if they choose to wait for their registration to be validated through the state voter registration database, a wait that requires a few minutes.
