Prep football: Squalicum 44, Archbishop Murphy 16

EVERETT — The Squalicum Storm scored 20 points in the first quarter and led the rest of the way en route to a win over Archbishop Murphy in a 2A District 1 playoff game Friday.

Kerry Jackson scored on a 3-yard run and Dennis Moton III hauled in a 25-yard pass from quarterback Nolan Rogge for Archbishop Muprhy’s two scores.

The loss ended the season for the Wildcats (7-3)
