VANCOUVER, Wash. — The Clark County sheriff’s office says it has been unable to confirm whether or not a bullet that hit a woman in the head outside her Brush Prairie home came from the nearby Clark Rifles gun range.
The bullet passed through her scalp Jan. 26, and Linda Sperling, 65, is still suffering the effects of a concussion.
The gun range cooperated with the investigation.
The Columbian reported that as a result of the case the sheriff’s office is inspecting the firing range for the first time in nearly two decades.
