No April election here

April 28 is election day in many places around Washington but not here.
It is one of four dates during the year when cities, school districts and other government entities around the state can put tax levies and other measures on the ballot. No entity in south Snohomish County has done that.
The most common users of the April ballot are school districts taking a second try after a February measure has failed; the levy that School District 15 voters passed last year is good for five years.
