Issue statement from unopposed Terrace Council incumbent Wahl

Unopposed Mountlake Terrace City Council incumbent Bryan Wahl recently sent a statement about what he thinks are the most important issues in this year’s election.
Wahl is running in the Nov. 3 general election for his first full four-year term after winning election to the last two years of the unexpired term for the position that he first won by appointment.
The position is one of three Mountlake Terrace Council positions on the November ballot.

Bryan Wahl: While serving on the Planning Commission for 14 years, Bryan listened and developed plans that reflect the vision our citizens have for Mountlake Terrace. On the City Council, Bryan is implementing those plans and taking steps to realize our dreams.
As your City Councilmember, Bryan’s priorities continue to include:
- FISCAL RESPONSIBILITY: Ensuring responsible and sustainable budgets that direct resources efficiently and effectively to achieve the city’s vision
- ECONOMIC VITALITY: Creating jobs and economic development opportunities by fostering a healthy business environment and adopting strategies that attract new business to our city
- QUALITY CITY SERVICES: Delivering services necessary for community safety, providing quality recreational programs and maintaining our roads and parks
Bryan has a strong understanding of public policy and experience analyzing issues. His knowledge of the issues and ability to balance needs amongst varying interests helps develop a consensus.
