Wednesday’s prep basketball stars

Here are some of the stars from Wednesday night’s high school basketball action:

Tyler Morris, Sultan. Morris scored 32 points to lead the Sultan boys to their first victory of the season, a 77-60 win over South Whidbey.

Chris Walcott, Sultan. Walcott scored 30 points to help the Sultan boys to their first victory of the season, a 77-60 win over South Whidbey.

Chase White, South Whidbey. White scored 30 points in South Whidbey’s 77-60 loss to Sultan.

Taryn Shelley, Shorewood. The 6-foot-2 junior post scored 30 points to lead the Shorewood girls past Kamiak, 68-67 in overtime.

Lynnwood girls’ defense. The Royals held Snohomish to single digits in all four quarters en route to a 57-21 win over the Panthers.
