Santa and pancakes
The Stanwood Community and Senior Center and the Stanwood Lions is inviting the public to a Santa and Pancake Breakfast, 9:30-11:30 a.m. Saturday at the senior center, 7430 276th St. NW. Pancakes will be served with sausages, orange juice and coffee. Take photos with Santa and make crafts, too. Cost is $5. For more information, call 360-629-7403.
Cruise downtown Snohomish: People are invited to drive any street-legal vehicle that is decorated with lights to First and Second streets in Snohomish between 6 and 7 p.m. Saturday.
The annual Freestyle Christmas Lights Cruise route is a circular lap from First Street, to Avenue D, then onto Second Street and finally Union Avenue. Drivers will travel clockwise to minimize the cruise’s affect on traffic.
Anyone can join the cruise for a few laps or the entire hour. A map is available at bit.ly/W6whlE.
Donate food for Lake Ki Food Drive: The 11th annual Lake Ki Food Drive is to be held Sunday. A Christmas-themed boat is scheduled to pick up food left on docks around the lake at 1 p.m. Donations can be left on docks or brought to Country Burger, 3110 Lakewood Road. The Lake Goodwin Community Club also is collecting food for the drive.
