Marysville woman killed in U.S. 2 crash

STEVENS PASS — A Marysville woman was killed Tuesday morning in a two-car crash at Stevens Pass.

It happened about 8:45 a.m., three miles west of the summit, said Sgt. Mark Francis with the Washington State Patrol.

Josie Eikenberry, 20, was driving a westbound Nissan Maxima. She crossed the center line and struck a Dodge Caravan. She died at the scene. The Dodge driver, a 63-year-old Monroe man, was injured and taken to a local hospital.

The cause of the crash is under investigation.

According to her social media profiles, Eikenberry attended Marysville Getchell High School and recently started at Everett Community College.
