Cooper Nelson

Mount Vernon | Baseball

Nelson, a senior, pitched a complete game four-hit shutout against Lake Stevens in the first round of the 4A Distirct 1 Tournament on Saturday. Nelson and the Bulldogs advanced to the semifinals where they faced Cascade on Monday.

Kira Doan

Mountlake Terrace | Softball

Doan, a junior, pitched a complete game in a 6-2 victory over Lynnwood last Wednesday. Of the 21 outs the Hawks recorded, 19 of them were strikeouts by Doan.

Matt Williams

Archbishop Murphy | Boys Soccer

Williams, a junior, scored four goals in the Wildcats’ 9-0 victory over Granite Falls in the first round of the 2A District 1 Tournament on Saturday.

Livia Markwart

Arlington | Girls Tennis

Markwart went 2-0 last week losing just one game in her two matches. The Eagles won both matches and are undefeated in league play this season.

Everett | Boys Golf

Martin shot a one-under 71 to earn medalist honors at the Everett School District Championships last Monday at Legion Memorial Golf Course.

Kamiak | Girls Golf

Kim shot a four-over 76 to earn medalist honors in last Tuesday’s match Wesco 4A match. Kamiak also placed first in the team scores.

Caleb Perry

King’s | Boys Track

Perry, a junior, won both the 100 and the 200 at last week’s Cascade Conference meet at Cedarcrest High School. Perry finished with a time of 10.98 in the 100 and 22.04 in the 200.

Tylor Adcock

Kamiak | Girls Track

Adcock, a senior, won both the discus (109 feet, 1 inch) and the javelin (107-4) at the Shoreline School District vs. Mukilteo School District meet last Thursday at Shoreline Stadium.

Alex Indelicato

Kamiak | Boys Lacrosse

Indelicato, a junior, scored five goals and dished two assists in Kamiak’s 14-6 win over Stanwood last Tuesday. The victory clinched the Wesco championship for Kamiak.
