Edmonds Community College held a Food 4 Kids Challenge and collected 12,935 food items for donation to the Foundation for Edmonds School District’s Nourishing Network, which provides meals for hungry and homeless students in the school district.
Staff collected items like single-serve fruit cups and mac and cheese, shelf-stable milk, individual boxes of cereal, peanut butter crackers, nuts, and other snack foods. Cash donations totaling $200 were given the foundation to purchase other suitable items.
