Teacher, student honored at Deaf Academic Bowl

The Edmonds-Woodway High School Deaf Academic Bowl Team competed at the Gallaudet University National Academic Bowl for Deaf and Hard of Hearing High School Students, held April 1-4 on the campus in Washington, D.C.
Milo Seal was named an All Star at the competition.
Teacher Lori Seago was honored as a Coach of the Year — Edmonds School District alumni presented her with the award.
This marked the 10th time in 11 years the Edmonds-Woodway team has made it to nationals. They earned a spot after finishing fourth at a regional competition in California. Other team members were Riley Beck, Brandon Smith and Devon Surge-Sample.
