The Rotary Club of Lynnwood on June 1 granted $75,000 in scholarships to 22 students, six of whom were returning students.

$4,500: Emilie Mathiason (Meadowdale), Nhu Nguyen (Edmonds-Woodway)

$4,000: Juliana Bushnell (Edmonds-Woodway), Jason Ernst (Clark College), Brittany Frisk (Northern Arizona University), Madison Schatz (Meadowdale), Cristelle Silve (University of Washington)

$3,000: Krista Brutman, Holly Davis, Elijah Eugene Edwards (Lynnwood); Sanne deBoer, Allyson Ely, Jinsung Lee, Alvin Little III, Kialani Mackey, Jamiason Schultz, Hugh Wilson (Edmonds-Woodway); Hailee Malins (Mountlake Terrace); Lauren Little (Grand Canyon University), Breeana Martin (Everett Community College); Mikayla Monroe (Western Washington University)

The club also presented the Edmonds School District with a $20,000 early learning grant. This is the fifth year that the Rotary has partnered with the district to provide an additional day of pre-kindergarten instruction at six elementary schools.
