Man apparently shoots himself in the leg near Edmonds

EDMONDS — A man was taken to the hospital Sunday after he reportedly shot himself in the leg, police say.

Officers received a call around 7:30 p.m. about a suspicious shooting north of Edmonds, according to the Snohomish County Sheriff’s Office. The incident happened at a home near the 14700 block of 54th Place West.

The man, in his 30s, had a self-inflicted gunshot wound that did not appear to be life threatening, the sheriff’s office reported.

He was taken to Harborview Medical Center in Seattle.
