Sales tax hike would fund road projects in Mukilteo

MUKILTEO — City leaders are considering asking voters to raise the sales tax by 0.1 percent for road-related projects, an ability provided by the city’s new transportation benefit district. A public hearing on the proposed resolution is set for 6 p.m. July 17 at City Hall, 11930 Cyrus Way.
Written comments will be accepted at City Hall until 4:30 p.m. that day.
If approved, the tax proposal would appear on the Nov. 7 ballot.
