EVERETT — Police are investigating a duplex fire in Everett on Sunday as potentially suspicious.
It was reported just before 9 p.m. along Chestnut Street. No one was injured, but three people were displaced.
The flames apparently started outside the building and spread into the attic, according to the fire department. Half of the duplex had tenants. The empty half sustained more damage as it was closer to the ignition spot.
The property loss was estimated at $75,000. The American Red Cross was assisting the family.
No suspects have been identified.
