Tony winner at Village Theatre

Village Theatre will host Tony Award-winner Levi Kreis for a concert at 7:30 p.m. Wednesday at the Everett Performing Arts Center, 2710 Wetmore Ave. The “Broadway at the Keys” tour performance will feature piano, vocals and Southern storytelling.

Kreis, who is best known to Village Theatre audiences for his performance as Jerry Lee Lewis in “Million Dollar Quartet,” went on to originate the role on Broadway. The role won him the 2010 Tony Award for Best Featured Actor in a Musical.

Tickets are $30.

Viking Day in Bothell

Hrafngardr, a reenactment group, puts on Viking Day, 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. Saturday at the Bothell Sons of Norway, 23905 Bothell-Everett Highway. Learn how Vikings lived. See demonstrations in card and inkle weaving, shoe making, bead making, cooking and combat.

Admission and parking are free.

Save-A-Mutt, with beer

Arlington’s Skookum Brewery hosts Dog Days of Skookum, an afternoon of doggy fun including games, prizes and a Scrub-a-Mutt dog wash, from noon to 5 p.m. Saturday at the brewery, 17925 59th Ave. Proceeds benefit local nonprofit Save-A-Mutt.

Well-behaved dogs are welcome. Humans must be at least 21 years old. A food truck will be on hand for snacks. The dog wash is $5 for small and medium-sized dogs, $10 for big dogs.

Ropes course for girls

Girls Soar, a fundraiser for Days for Girls, is set for Saturday at High Trek Adventure, 11928 Beverly Park Road, Everett. Enjoy music, crafts, a raffle and food trucks for a suggested $5 donation, or sign up for the ropes course for $20. Days for Girls is a Bellingham-based nonprofit that makes hygiene kits for young women around the world.

Benefit for Cocoon House

An event to benefit the Cocoon House is set for noon to 11 p.m. Saturday at the Historic Everett Theatre, 2911 Colby Ave. Admission is by donation. More than 20 local bands are scheduled; there will be paintings for auction, spoken word poetry and comedy.

School supplies in Snohomish

The Snohomish Church of the Nazarene opens a school supply “store” for local families who might struggle otherwise to afford the supplies, 10 a.m. to 7 p.m. Thursday. The church is at 1017 13th St.
