Boys basketball

Malakhi Knight, Marysville Getchell

Knight, a freshman, scored 23 points Tuesday to help the Chargers to a 62-54 win over Lynnwood, then tallied 21 points Friday as Marysville Getchell beat Shorewood 74-70 in overtime.

Girls basketball

Ashley Alter, Stanwood

Alter, a senior, scored 25 points Wednesday in the Spartans’ 92-44 win over Mountlake Terrace, then tallied 31 points Friday to help Stanwood to a 62-36 victory over Meadowdale.

Boys wrestling

Cayden White, Marysville Pilchuck

White, a sophomore, won the 170-pound championship Saturday at the Wesco 3A North Sub Regional, helping the Tomahawks capture the team title.

Girls wrestling

Carmen DeGregg, Everett

DeGregg went 5-0 at the Northwest District Sub-Regional on Saturday, winning the 110-pound weight class and helping the Seagulls to a second-place team finish.

Boys swimming and diving

Carter Walles, Lake Stevens

Walles, a senior, won the 200-yard freestyle and 100 backstroke events and was part of the Vikings’ winning 400 freestyle relay team Tuesday in Lake Stevens’ 114-71 loss to Kamiak.

Girls Bowling

Paris Smith, Cascade

Smith, a junior, finished second in the individual portion of the Class 4A state tournament Thursday in University Place. Smith rolled a six-game series of 1,173 with a high game of 228. Kristina Harris of Rogers of Puyallup placed first with a 1,236 series.
