SNOHOMISH — A robbery suspect evaded sheriff’s deputies and a police dog Monday in the Snohomish area.

Timothy Vaivaimuli, 31, aka Timo Bazan, is wanted after a first-degree robbery from Tuesday.

Sheriff’s deputies found him Monday afternoon at S. Machias and Dubuque roads, but he fled. He was last seen “crossing the Pilchuck River” near the 12500 block of S. Machias, according to a tweet from the Snohomish Police Department.

A police dog was called in to help with the search around 3 p.m. Deputies asked people to avoid the area.
