Snohomish-area boy, 13, reported missing

SNOHOMISH — A 13-year-old boy from the Snohomish area has been missing since late Friday afternoon, the Snohomish County Sheriff’s Office said.

Justin J. Gilbert was reported missing from a home in the 18800 block of Broadway Avenue. He is 5-11, 165 pounds, and was last seen wearing a blue t-shirt or tank top, blue jeans and white shoes, the sheriff’s office said in a news release Saturday morning.

He left his residence about 5 p.m. Friday to go for a walk and had said he would return at 6. There is no history or anything else to indicate he has run away, the sheriff’s office said, so he is considered a missing person.

Anyone who has seen him or knows his whereabouts is asked to call 911.
