Bothell teen awarded $17,500 for college

Landon Butaud, of Bothell, won a $12,500 Chancellor’s Excellence Scholarship from Cedarville University, in Ohio, where he plans to study sports business management this fall. Butaud, who graduated this year from Providence Classical Christian School in Bothell, also was awarded a $5,000 Edmund F. Maxwell Foundation Scholarship.
