Hallee Jette, 7, was the youth honoree at the 2018 Snohomish County Walk to Cure Arthritis event held June 9 at McCollum Park to benefit the Arthritis Foundation.

The event so far has raised over $20,700 toward its goal of $50,000. Hallee’s team raised over $1,600 at the event.

Hallee was diagnosed with juvenile psoriatic arthritis when she was 4 years old and has had arthritis in both her knees, ankles, fingers and toes. She takes weekly injections, goes to rheumatologist and eye doctor appointments and has her blood drawn often. She remains active, playing softball, basketball and gymnastics — and could be seen running at the Walk to Cure.
