Ducks dash down river, quack up funds for nonprofits

The 30th running of the annual Great Stilly Duck Dash was July 4. The Rotary Club of Arlington fundraiser brought in over $185,500 in sponsorships and ticket sales. The rubber duck race paid out $9,042 in prizes. Scott Fenstermaker had the winning duck, winning the $3,030 first prize.
Proceeds benefit the Arlington Food Bank, Stillaguamish Senior Center, Boys & Girls Club, Cocoon House and other local nonprofits.
