A $3.3 million roundabout project near Marysville has been delayed.
The state Department of Transportation plans to install a single-lane roundabout at the intersection of Highway 9 and 108th Street NE. The improvement is aimed at safety and to reduce wait times.
Construction had been expected in late spring. But discrepancies with surveying data took a couple of weeks to iron out, agency spokeswoman Ally Barrera said. Once those errors were corrected, the contractor had committed its crews elsewhere.
The work is now expected to resume after Labor Day. It will require two weekend closures.
