100+ Women Who Care of South Snohomish County has donated approximately $10,000 to two local nonprofits this year. The group in May donated $4,050 to Matthew House, in Monroe, and in June donated another $4,000 to Cocoon House, in Everett.

The group is a local chapter of a national organization. Members meet quarterly to collectively donate to a local nonprofit that serves south Snohomish County communities. The next meeting is at 6:30 p.m. on Sept. 10 at Maltby Pizza and Pasta, 8813 Maltby Road, Snohomish.
