The local Rotary Club of Lynnwood recently honored two Career and Technical Education Students of the Month from Lynnwood High School.

Elisabeth (Elisa) Rollins, a junior, has focused on the law and justice path. Her instructor, sheriff’s deputy Patrick McGill, described her as “inquisitive and engaged.” “I believe Elisa can achieve whatever she sets her mind to achieve,” McGill said.

David Nelson-Leang, also a junior, has focused on media. He helped create the school’s new media room in the library, where students and staff create videos, podcasts or photographs for classroom use. “David is reliable, hard-working, trustworthy, industrious, tenacious, conscious, creative, funny, kind, friendly, mature, and incredibly hard-working,” teacher Donna Schou said.
