The Athlete of the Week nominees for Nov. 18-24. Voting closes at midnight Sunday. The winner will be announced on next week’s Prep Focus page. Each weekly winner will be included in an Athlete of the Month poll.

Arianna Bilby | Arlington | Volleyball

Bilby, a senior outside hitter, collected 20 kills, 10 digs, three assists and two aces in the Eagles’ 3-1 win over Snohomish on Saturday at the Class 3A state tournament. The victory secured the first state placing in program history. The Eagles brought home a sixth-place trophy.

Jordan Justice | Marysville Pilchuck | Football

Justice, a senior, rushed for 93 yards on 10 carries and scored two of his team’s three touchdowns in the Tomahawks’ 56-21 loss to Lincoln in the Class 3A state quarterfinals Saturday.

Kasen Kinchen | Lake Stevens | Football

Kinchen, a senior, caught seven passes for a 141 yards in the Vikings’ 29-28 loss to Mount Si on Saturday in a Class 4A state quarterfinal game.

Lake Stevens | Volleyball Team

The Vikings placed second in the Class 4A state tournament Saturday in Yakima. It was the highest finish in program history.

Sergio Pelayo | Lake Stevens | Football

Pelayo, a senior, caught 14 passes for 169 yards — including an 85-yard touchdown reception — in the Vikings’ 29-28 loss to Mount Si on Saturday in a Class 4A state quarterfinal.
