What’s open? Not much. What’s closed? A lot

Starting Tuesday, bars will be shut down and seated service in dining establishments halted. It will be this way for two weeks — and possibly longer.

This statewide mandated closure includes, but is not limited to:

Restaurants

Bars and taverns

Wine, beer and spirits tasting venues

Food courts

Donut shops and ice cream parlors

Coffee shops

Sit down airport restaurants and bars

Take-out, delivery and drive-thru food and beverage services are not banned under the emergency proclamation issued by Gov. Jay Inslee.

College dining halls cannot provide on-site dining but may offer options for take-out or delivery.

On-site food service will be permitted for childcare services and school-based food programs for public elementary and secondary schools.

Entertainment, too

The statewide prohibition also applies to entertainment and leisure activity venues, and non-essential services. It includes, but is not limited to:

Gyms and fitness centers

Movie theaters and concert halls

Bowling alleys

Barbers, hair salons and nail salons

Tattoo parlors

Museums

Art galleries

Non-tribal card rooms

The governor’s emergency proclamation does not cover facilities on tribal lands, including casinos.

Ban on smaller gatherings

Also Monday, Inslee banned events of 50 or more people statewide. Gatherings with fewer than 50 people are also prohibited unless criteria from the Centers for Disease Control for public health and social distancing are met. You can read the proclamation online at www.governor.wa.gov
