MOUNTLAKE TERRACE — Overnight work on the Sound Transit Link light rail extension to Lynnwood will require closure of northbound I-5 connections with Highway 104 for two days this week.

Contractor crews need the ramps free of traffic to finish concrete pours for the trackway. The closures could be rescheduled because the work is dependent on weather.

The on-ramp to I-5 and westbound Highway 104 off-ramp will be closed 10 p.m. Wednesday until 7 a.m. Thursday, and the westbound Highway 104 off-ramp will be closed from 10 p.m. Thursday until 7 a.m. Friday.

Detours will take drivers north to 236th Street SW, back south on I-5 and west to Highway 104, or from Highway 104 to 56th Avenue W north to 220th Street SW and onto I-5.
