Snohomish High School placed on lockdown, no injuries reported

SNOHOMISH — No one was injured when police placed Snohomish High School on lockdown Wednesday afternoon following a report of someone with a gun nearby.

Someone called police to report they’d seen a man walking with a gun in the waistband of his pants. Security footage showed the suspect walking with two other people on and off the school’s campus, police wrote.

All students on campus were reportedly located and the lockdown was lifted around 4:30 p.m. There was no known threat, and police were actively investigating the incident Wednesday, Snohomish police wrote.
