Stanwood man dies in crash in Skagit County

MOUNT VERNON — A Stanwood man died Tuesday after crashing his car into a pole in Skagit County.

Just before 3 a.m., Caleb Severson was driving a Buick Rendezvous east on McLean Road when he crossed the center line and struck a pole on the other side of the road, according to the Washington State Patrol.

The Stanwood man died at the scene, according to state patrol. He was 40.
