Every year The Daily Herald takes nominations and lets readers vote for the Best of Snohomish County Awards. There are dozens of categories, but here are the 2022 top choices for best breakfast:

First place: Totem Family Dining

Totem Family Diner has operated in Everett since 1953. The diner is famous for its ham and eggs, four-egg omelets and Totem Hash served with two eggs “any style.”

Second place: Maltby Cafe

Third place: Stilly Diner

Additional nominations: Patty’s Eggnest Mukilteo, Brianna’s Cafe
