Every year The Daily Herald takes nominations and lets readers vote for the Best of Snohomish County Awards. There are dozens of categories, but here are the 2022 top choices for best family entertainment:

First Place: Imagine Children’s Museum in Everett

Imagine Children’s Museum is a vital community resource serving children and families in Snohomish County and beyond. Following a major expansion in 2022, they offer three floors of sensational, hands-on exhibits that enrich children’s lives through playful learning. They are the largest children’s museum in Washington State, with customized playful learning galleries that reflect Everett and Snohomish County.

From a replica of the Mount Pilchuck Fire Lookout to the skeleton of a gray whale, there’s something for kids and parents — an art room, a tool and tinker room, a mock tugboat and other hands-on play stations.

Second Place: Everett Silvertips in Everett

Third Place: Everett Aquasox in Everett
