Crash near Sultan blocks U.S. 2 eastbound traffic

SULTAN — A three car crash on U.S. 2 blocked eastbound traffic Saturday afternoon, authorities said.

The crash was reported around noon Saturday in the 27900 block of U.S. 2, east of Sultan, said Washington State Patrol trooper Anthony Reese.

Troopers expected to clear the remaining debris from the roadway quickly, so traffic could continue to pass.

One person suffered minor injuries in the crash, Reese said.
