BOYS CROSS COUNTRY
Leavenworth Invitational
LEAVENWORTH — Granite Falls’ Benjamin Rojas won the Leavenworth Invitational, finishing the 2.8-mile Sky Hill course with a time of 16 minuteS, 9.9 seconds. Cascade’s Anthony finished fourth in the event, which featured 20 teams.

King’s Cross Invite
SEATTLE — King’s runner Nahome Getachew beat the competition at the four-team event, finishing with a time of 16 minutes, 42.43 seconds on the 3-mile King’s Roller Coaster Trail Run course. The Knights claimed five of the top six spots to win the event.

Return of the Salmon Invitational
SULTAN — Mariner and Monroe finished tied atop the leaderboard, and the Marauders won the tiebreaker by having the faster No. 6 runner. Monroe’s Owen Eagen-Heffernan led local runners with a fifth-place finish by completing the 5,000-meter, Osprey Park course in 16 minutes, 31.30 seconds.

GIRLS CROSS COUNTRY
King’s Cross Invite
SEATTLE — Sophia Ingin of King’s won the four-team event, finishing with a time of 19 minutes, 4.87seconds on the three-mile King’s Roller Coaster Trail Run course. The Knights placed five runners in the top 13 to win the team competition.

SULTAN — Stephanie Holcomb of Sultan led local runners, placing 10th on Osprey Park course with a time of 23 minutes, 14.20 seconds while leading the Turks to a fifth-place team finish.
