EVERETT — A man in his 60s died after a car hit him on Broadway early Wednesday morning in Everett.

Around 5:30 a.m. Wednesday, first responders and police responded to a report of a vehicle that struck a pedestrian at the intersection of 13th Street and Broadway.

Everett police said the pedestrian was declared dead at the scene. The driver of the vehicle was cooperative and stayed on the scene, said Everett police officer Natalie Given. Police don’t suspect impairment was a factor in the crash.

Police closed both the north and south lanes of Broadway between 12th Street and 14th Street until about 10 a.m. Wednesday.

The Snohomish County Medical Examiner’s Office will identify the deceased.
