EVERETT — A fire fully engulfed an abandoned structure and nearby vehicle on Monday in Mill Creek

Around 6 p.m. Monday, firefighters responded to a report of a fire at an abandoned structure and neighboring vehicle near the Bothell Everett Highway and 173rd Street Southeast. Fire crews arrived within five minutes of the report and brought the fire under control shortly after, a South County Fire social media post said.

The cause of the fire is under investigation, the post said.
