Medical issue leads to single-vehicle crash on Hewitt Avenue in Everett

EVERETT — Law enforcement and first responders were on the scene of a crash into a pole on Wednesday morning in Everett.

Around 10:09 a.m. Wednesday, officers responded to reports of a white box truck driving over the curb and onto the sidewalk before colliding with a pole on the 2900 block of Hewitt Avenue in Everett. Police initially blocked the eastbound lanes of Hewitt Avenue near Maple Street.

The driver experienced a medical issue, which led to the crash, according to Everett Police Department spokesperson Kyle Coleman. No other injuries were reported.
