Seattle Storm head coach and general manager Brian Agler announced on Friday that the team has added guard Silvia Dominguez to the training camp roster.

The 25-year-old helped lead Ros Casares Valencia to the EuroLeague women’s championship earlier this month, scoring 13 points against Rivas Ecopolis in the title game. Dominguez is a starter for Valencia and plays alongside Storm players Lauren Jackson and Ann Wauters. Dominguez averaged 5.8 points and 3.8 assists per game in EuroLeague play.

Dominguez, a 5-6 point guard also plays for the Spanish national team.

“I’ve watched Silvia play the last four seasons and I’ve seen her really mature as a player,” Agler said. “She’s proven to be on of the top point guards in Europe and she’s a proven winner.”

The addition of Dominguez brings the Storm’s training camp roster up to 13 players.

Seattle opens the regular season on May 18 at home against the Los Angeles Sparks.
